vista visuals what they using

Vista Visuals - What are they using?

I was curious, what is powering the visuals in vista? Its it using Avalon? Is explorer using XAML, and CLR? I heard at one time it was going to be a fully managed app. Are they using Sparkle as they create the UI?
Or is it sorta a mix?
Thanks!

I don't know if its solely based on Windows Presentation Foundation, but I am sure they are not using XAML and Sparkle anywhere in Explorer, since those are intended to enhance a thirdparty developers applications.

Yeh Andre's right - a lot of it is WPF (Avalon) but much of the web based stuff is XAML, especially the Sidebar (mainly HTML/XML stuff).
